Today's Date: Children are Newark’s most precious resource.  The Victoria Foundation supports myriad programs that enhance youth development and strengthen families living in Newark.  The Foundation’s trustees make grants that nurture the growth and social development of children, while at the same time address the needs of families in order to prevent crises.  We support a wide array of high quality afterschool and summer programs for Newark youth, including day camp and residential summer camp opportunities.  The Foundation also supports many organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newark, Aspira, and the Girl Scouts, that focus on self-esteem, leadership skills, academic enrichment, and exposure to new experiences.     Click here to view 2009 YOUTH AND FAMILIES grants awarded.
